Test Driving the Nikon D700

Here’s a straight-out-of-the-camera shot taken with my new Nikon D700 and my 50mm F/1.8 prime lens:

    • Wayne, sorry for the delay in the reply, but I wanted to shoot a couple more times to get a feel for the file sizes before I responded. Interestingly, they don’t seem to be significantly bigger! The raw files are running anywhere from 9 to 12MB, depending on the subject matter. I looked back through my old NEF files from the D5000 and those sizes look typical. Go figure!!
